12/18/2024 I am converting all of the zipped mySword modules on this site to straight *.bok.mybible formats. If you visit us from a cell phone, you do not have to unzip these files. I am also changing the format somewhat. I am getting away from individual descriptions, and just making library lists where you can directly download the files.
If you come across a post that doesn't have a download link, please post a note to me in the comments of that post (no download), and I will try to get the file uploaded and linked to that post. We have had glitches in the past, and some posts lost their downloads. Basically, I am taking down all posts (650 posts on the site), and checking each one to see if they have their download, and if not adding it. Most do not. Once I take it down, it will repost (1 per day) until I am caught up and can work on new posts. Note that MySword reads theWord modules and esword modules now, so use them if you have them. Check these sites twmodules.com and eswordlibrary.com
If you can use these mysword modules in your Christian life and ministry, I need a big favor from you. I need you to pray for me. I sustain this website alone, out of my own living expense money. The Google Adsense ads have been adding to my income at the rate of 5 US cents per day for Google Adsense Ads as a daily total on 32 of my sites, all of them combined earn me a nickel per day except on bad days when it is less. I have been hacked continually, and these sites breakdown or are hacked, so I need your prayers. Please pray that God would protect this labor of love. If you cannot donate, please pray for me at least.

In this 3 chapter work, Lin (Bob Jones University) presents us with thoughts on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in relation to the minister. His chapters are the Baptism with the Holy Spirit; The Filling of the Holy Spirit, and The Fullness of the Holy Spirit. Excellent work!
The Spirit of Life: The Divine Person and Work of the Holy Spirit
By E. H. Bickersteth, M.A. Vicar of Christ Church, Hampsteap, and Chaplain to the Bishop of Ripon.
In this book, Bickersteth has 9 chapters about the Holy Spirit: the witness of Scripture to the Holy Spirit, the distinct personality of the Spirit, the eternal Godhead of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit anointing the Son of Man, the Spirit as the author of Holy Scripture, the Holy Spirit striving with the world, the Holy Spirit quickening the soul to life, sanctifying the believer, and the issue of the Spirit’s work.

This is a 13 chapter work which challenges the reader to realize there is a difference between being religious and being spiritual. It affirms the continuing involvement of the activity of the divine in our salvation. It challenges all in Christ to seek spirituality. It challenges the reader to think. It does not challenge readers to conform to specific values or concepts.
Evaluation by David Cox
Personally I do not agree with everything the Church of Christ people would hold to, most notably their position on Baptism, but overall they do produce some good works when it comes to books and sermons and things. I would recommend this work.
This work is 6 chapters on the baptism of the Holy Spirit, referring principally to the work at Pentecost. Speaking in tongues is addressed as an effect of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. But boldness in witnessing is the effect. Obviously the tongues they spoke in were known languages, as Acts 2 elaborates

This is a 11 chapter work on water baptism, written from a person’s view, but dealing with issues surrounding water baptism. It examines the biblical evidence about baptism. This work is kind of similar to “William the Baptist” by James M Chaney (first published 1877).
