From the Webmaster

12/18/2024 I am converting all of the zipped mySword modules on this site to straight *.bok.mybible formats. If you visit us from a cell phone, you do not have to unzip these files. I am also changing the format somewhat. I am getting away from individual descriptions, and just making library lists where you can directly download the files.
If you come across a post that doesn't have a download link, please post a note to me in the comments of that post (no download), and I will try to get the file uploaded and linked to that post. We have had glitches in the past, and some posts lost their downloads. Basically, I am taking down all posts (650 posts on the site), and checking each one to see if they have their download, and if not adding it. Most do not. Once I take it down, it will repost (1 per day) until I am caught up and can work on new posts. Note that MySword reads theWord modules and esword modules now, so use them if you have them. Check these sites twmodules.com and eswordlibrary.com
If you can use these mysword modules in your Christian life and ministry, I need a big favor from you. I need you to pray for me. I sustain this website alone, out of my own living expense money. The Google Adsense ads have been adding to my income at the rate of 5 US cents per day for Google Adsense Ads as a daily total on 32 of my sites, all of them combined earn me a nickel per day except on bad days when it is less. I have been hacked continually, and these sites breakdown or are hacked, so I need your prayers. Please pray that God would protect this labor of love. If you cannot donate, please pray for me at least.

Finney, C.G. – Guide to the Savior.

Guide to the Savior.

or Conditions of Attaining to and Abiding in Entire Holiness of Heart and Life.
by Prof. C.G. Finney.
Third Edition Oberlin:
JAMES M. FITCH.
1855

In this 6 chapter book, Finney (Deeper Life) examines holiness and Christ within us.

CONTENTS.
Chapter I. CONDITIONS OF ATTAINING TO HOLINESS.
Holiness not attained by waiting God’s time. Not by works of law. Not by direct efforts to feel right. Not by any efforts to obtain grace by works of law. Not by copying the experience of others. Not by waiting to make preparations. Not by attending meetings, &c. Not by waiting for any particular views of Christ. Not in any way which you may mark out for yourself. Not in any manner, time, or place upon which you may lay stress. It is to be attained by faith alone. Sanctification by faith not opposed to sanctification by the Holy Spirit.

Have you ever eaten Fried Ice Cream! Donate!
It is delicious, like apple pie with vanilla ice cream on top. But you know that you cannot have what is good without somebody paying for it. If you have enjoyed things on my website, please consider helping me out on the expenses and keeping it on the Internet. Can you consider at least a one time donation to this ministry of $10 or $20 dollars? I have a monthly total of about 96 gigabytes total being downloaded monthly from all of my websites. Be a blessing to me and donate any amount. It would be really great if you could gift me and my wife (she wants oa fried ice cream too) this money so that we could enjoy eating out at least once in a while. (I pay the expenses for these sites out of our living expenses.) God will richly bless you and repay you for your generosity. 1 Timothy 5:18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. If you received some value from my websites, consider at least a small donation. A big donation would really be nice, too, though.

They deep freeze the ice cream ball, and coat it with batter only a few seconds before they deep fry it, and then only fry it for a few seconds.

CHAPTER II CONDITIONS OF ATTAINING TO HOLINESS, CONTINUED.
Necessity of considering the temptations that overcome us. What is implied in ability to be holy. In order to attain to holiness, we need to know Christ as our King. As our Mediator. As our Advocate. As our Redeemer. As our Justification. As our Judge. As the Repairer of the Breach. As the Propitiation for our sins. As the surety of a better than the first covenant. As dying for our sins. As risen for our Justification. As bearing our griefs and carrying our sorrows. As He by whose stripes we are healed. As being made sin for us. That He was made sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. As He upon whose shoulders is the government of the world. As Head over all things to the church. As having all power in heaven and on earth. As the Prince of Peace. As the Captain of salvation. As our Passover. As our Wisdom. As the Redemption of the soul. As our Prophet. As our High Priest.

CHAPTER III. CONDITIONS OF ATTAINING TO HOLINESS, CONTINUED.
In order to attain to holiness, we need to have Christ revealed to us as the Bread of Life. As the Fountain of the Water of Life. As the True God and the Eternal Life. As our Life. As the All in All. As the Resurrection and the Life. As the Bridegroom of the soul.

CHAPTER IV CONDITIONS OF ATTAINING TO HOLINESS, CONTINUED.
In order to attain to holiness, we need to have Christ revealed to us as the Shepherd. As the Door. As the Way of Salvation. As the Truth. As the True Light.

CHAPTER V. CONDITIONS OF ATTAINING TO HOLINESS, CONTINUED.
In order to attain to holiness, we need to have Christ revealed to us as “Christ within us.” As our Strength. As our Keeper. As our Friend. As our Elder Brother. As the True Vine. As the Fountain opened in the house of David. As Jesus the Savior. As one whose blood cleanseth from all sin. As the “Wonderful. “As the “Counselor.” As the Mighty God.

CHAPTER VI. CONDITIONS OF ATTAINING TO HOLINESS, CONTINUED.
In order to attain to holiness we need to have Christ revealed to us as our Shield. As the Portion of his people. As our Hope. As our Salvation. As the Rock of our Salvation. As a Rock cleft. As a Rock Higher than we. As the Rock from which the soul is satisfied with honey. As the Rock upon which the church is builded. As the Strength of our heart. As He through whom we may reckon ourselves dead unto sin, and alive unto God.

INTRODUCTION.

This little volume contains six lectures, making a part of my course of lectures on entire sanctification in this life, as published in the third volume of my Systematic Theology. I have been repeatedly urged to consent to the publication of these lectures in a small volume by themselves, for the following reasons:

1. Their value to many Christians who can not afford to purchase the entire work on Systematic Theology.

2. Their value to those who, though able to purchase the entire work, have not sufficient leisure to read it.

3. Their value to young Christians and to all that class of persons who would not be able to read and comprehend the larger work entire.

4. They are thought to contain that spiritual food which is greatly needed by all classes of Christians, and should, therefore, as far as possible, be put within the reach of all, and in a form and size the least expensive and most convenient.

Let it be borne in mind that these six lectures are confined to a presentation of the conditions of abiding holiness of heart and life. They are designed, not to define entire sanctification, not to prove its attainability–nor that it has been attained, but simply to indicate the necessary conditions or means of continuing in obedience to God. Those who would understand my views of the whole subject, must read and ponder well the entire course of lectures upon the subject, as found in the third volume to the first edition of my Systematic Theology.

The full scope and bearing of these six lectures will not be so fully seen, separated from the entire course, but it is thought that by themselves they contain sufficient spiritual instruction to warrant and demand a separate publication.

I might, as is indicated in the lectures themselves, greatly enlarge every head, and swell this to a large volume. But, first, I have not time to do so. Secondly, the volume would then be too large for multitudes of purchasers and readers. Thirdly, on many of the relations of Christ to believers, I greatly desire to enlarge, but upon the whole, I will consent to have the lectures presented as they are found in the original work.

To Christ and his dear children I consecrate these lectures. If any one shall be refreshed by their perusal, I shall be happy to give all the glory to Christ, and be content myself with the satisfaction of having been made instrumental in feeding the “flock of God which he has purchased with his own blood.”

fam62 How to be a Feminine Woman
examines femininity from a Bible perspective. It compares homosexuals being feminine. Topics: God created us, man, and woman. | The Spiritual Fight is within us ourselves. | A Device of Satan A Device of Satan | The Homosexual and Trans Angle | Highlighting the Woman, How She Behaves | The Crux of the Matter | To Be a Feminine Woman, She must attend to her adorning. | The Description of a Woman.
Excerpt from the Tract: 1 Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither… nor adulterers, nor effeminate… In other words, these people were doing the opposite of what God commanded them to do. Being men and having the command to act manly (1 Corinthians 16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong), they acted like women. For women, it is the command of God that they act feminine, to be womanly. To seem feminine, these perverts usually use a dress or skirt, and they never use pants, because they know that by using pants they identify themselves being masculine, and using skirts and dress with being feminine. But it seems like an impossible thing to fathom, but even homosexuals know exactly how to identify as a woman, men being feminine, in their rebellion, and Christian women can neither define what it is that God commands them to be, how to dress themselves as women, neither how to act feminine.
How do you distinguish between a man and a woman? Pants in a man, and dress or skirt in a woman. Even common bathroom signs show this obvious point. The question is not how a woman dress should, but why don’t women, especially Christian women, dress like a woman should. It is not a matter of clarity, but a matter of no desire on the part of certain women. Are you a feminine woman? If not, why not?
