10/28/2024 If you come across a post that doesn't have a download link, please post a note to me in the comments of that post (no download), and I will try to get the file uploaded and linked to that post. We have had glitches in the past, and some posts lost their downloads. Basically, I am taking down all posts (650 posts on the site), and checking each one to see if they have their download, and if not adding it. Most do not. Once I take it down, it will repost (1 per day) until I am caught up and can work on new posts. Note that MySword reads theWord modules and esword modules now, so use them if you have them. Uniformity with Gods Will

This author is from the 1700s, but the topic is very today. He begins with the correct presupposition that happiness is only found when the person is living in God’s will. He begins with the excellency of this virtue of being united (uniformity) with God’s will, and then explains how this will be the only thing that causes us true and lasting happiness. He then asserts that God desires our happiness, and that there are “helps” that we can do to examine our lives and bring us into this spiritual position and practice. Without it, we will end up in “spiritual desolation” (Chapter 6).

bs32 Should we seek the Holy Spirit? examines the question of seeking the Holy Spirit, or do Christians already have Him. This tract presents the argument that Scripture clearly teaches that God seals the believer at the moment of accepting Jesus with the Holy Spirit. If that is so (and we show these verses), then God cannot allow a person to (1) believe and be saved, but (2) not have the sealing of the Holy Spirit indwelling.

Missionary on Furlough Spiritual Needs is an article by David Cox (veteran missionary) to help pastors and missionaries understand missionary needs.
Excerpt: When a pastor "takes in a missionary on deputation or furlough", he ministers to that missionary.... Pastors also need this encouragement as much as missionaries need it. When they get together to fellowship, they are able to encourage one another.
