10/28/2024 If you come across a post that doesn't have a download link, please post a note to me in the comments of that post (no download), and I will try to get the file uploaded and linked to that post. We have had glitches in the past, and some posts lost their downloads. Basically, I am taking down all posts (650 posts on the site), and checking each one to see if they have their download, and if not adding it. Most do not. Once I take it down, it will repost (1 per day) until I am caught up and can work on new posts. Note that MySword reads theWord modules and esword modules now, so use them if you have them. Abraham’s homeland is present-day Iraq; the Palestine of Jesus’ ministry is today a land of turmoil. This book gives a brief but instructive view of Bible lands – from Mesopotamia to Palestine, from North Africa to Syria, from Asia Minor to Italy – then and now.




A carpenter making his own tools is an explanation of why I, Pastor-Missionary David Cox, write my own material. I like the idea of producing the material that we use in our ministry and also for evangelism.

Evaluation by David Cox

I have but one complaint about this work, it is too short. I want more. This work is a modern work on the land of Israel relating them back to Bible days. Although the entries are rather more on the short side than long side, they are good Bible dictionary “definitions”. Like I said, this is more like an introduction on each of the Bible places, and Fleming did not go into greater depth on these, but he does usually have a half dozen to dozen Bible references at the end of each entry like footnotes to things mentioned in the text.

I would definitely recommend this work, and most specifically for the serious Bible student to add to his Bible Geography library.

Consider Job. Was what God did to Job “fair”? If God makes most people blind, “equality” would mean you want to be blind also?
