From the Webmaster

10/28/2024 If you come across a post that doesn't have a download link, please post a note to me in the comments of that post (no download), and I will try to get the file uploaded and linked to that post. We have had glitches in the past, and some posts lost their downloads. Basically, I am taking down all posts (650 posts on the site), and checking each one to see if they have their download, and if not adding it. Most do not. Once I take it down, it will repost (1 per day) until I am caught up and can work on new posts. Note that MySword reads theWord modules and esword modules now, so use them if you have them. Check these sites twmodules.com and eswordlibrary.com
If you can use these mysword modules in your Christian life and ministry, I need a big favor from you. I need you to pray for me. I sustain this website alone, out of my own living expense money. The Google Adsense ads have been adding to my income at the rate of 5 US cents per day for Google Adsense Ads on 32 of my sites, all of them combined earn me a nickel per day except on bad days when it is less. I have been hacked continually, and these sites breakdown or are hacked, so I need your prayers. Please pray that God would protect this labor of love

pc50 Narcissism versus Love
explains how our world is very much like that described in the Bible as the last days. Narcissism is love of one's self, 2Tim 3:2-4. I describe a narcissistic person, and what the Bible says about them.
Extract and topics: But how do we really identify the narcissist? Many people are narcissists and don't know it... Lovers of their own selves. | Lovers of pleasure, not of God. | Covetous and Miserly. | Arrogant, Boasting, and Haughty. | Disobedient to parents, unthankful, and without natural affection. | Traitors (and truce breakers). | Traitors (and truce breakers). | Incontinent (implacable). | False Accusers | Biblical Love is the opposite | The Divine “Remedy” for Narcissism

Missionary on Furlough Spiritual Needs
is an article by David Cox (veteran missionary) to help pastors and missionaries understand missionary needs.
Excerpt: When a pastor "takes in a missionary on deputation or furlough", he ministers to that missionary.... Pastors also need this encouragement as much as missionaries need it. When they get together to fellowship, they are able to encourage one another. But every pastor ministering to a returning missionary should encourage them along these lines of faithfulness and reward in eternity.
Topics: Introduction | Unfit Missionaries that should not be missionaries at all | Stop the Merry-go-round, I want to get off | Some Tips for Pastors Encouraging Missionaries | 1. Do not undermine their way of leading or doing the ministry | 2. The two essential elements are talk and prayer. | 3. Get more than just the pastor involved in praying for the missionary. | Remind your missionary by asking for an update if it has been a while. | Effectively disseminate prayer requests.
